My Goal was: Use place value (subtracting) in parts to solve Subtraction problems.

562-200=362

362-30=332

332-1= 331

My favourite strategy was place value.

Hi, my name is Nikita and today I am going to show you what we have been doing in Tumu hub for Te reo. We have been learning our Kupu (words) of the week. So we had to make a comic strip saying where are you from or what is your name in Māori. Our teachers told us that we could either use a poster or a slide show, I chose to do a slide. 

The Questionts in māori are:(what is your name) Ko wai tō ingoa? & Nō hea koe? (where are you from)

My Learning about reversibility, Tidy numbers And place value.

 

Hi, And welcome to my maths blog post. This week we are learning about Reversibility, Place value and tidy numbers. At first I didn't know what to do but then after a few days I got the hang of it.

My favourite one was place value because I liked doing the addition to find out the answer. 

Here is a example

674-320

600-300 = 300

70-20= 50

4-0 = 4 

300+50= 350

350+4= 354
